Borrowing
- Residents of Southfield or Lathrup Village are eligible for a Southfield Public Library Card. This card may also be used at any of The Library Network [TLN] libraries that have reciprocal borrowing agreements.
- Residents of communities with reciprocal borrowing agreements in TLN must use their library card from their home community at the Southfield Public Library.
- Residents of non-reciprocal communities who work, attend school or own property in Southfield or Lathrup Village may qualify for a library card that can only be used at the Southfield Public Library.
Come to the Circulation and Guest Services Desk with valid ID and fill out a short application form. For additional information, please come in or call (248) 796-4224.

You are responsible for all items borrowed on the card and for any charges incurred for overdue, lost, or damaged items. Report a lost or stolen card immediately by calling (248) 796-4224. There is a charge to replace a lost library card.
